Haven Island is an IOS Social Media mobile application. Haven island is a community for empaths, highly sensitive and any soul that seeks refugee from the abundance of toxic energies in the world. Toxic, cluster B personalities are a growing epidemic in society.
My Role: UX Product Designer
How it Works
In order to target a community for empaths users are required to take a short personalized quiz initially after downloading the app. Users will either enter or get rejected based how they answered the questions. Once Users enter Haven Island and create a profile they can utilize the timeline, articles, events, and dating sections of the app as they choose.
User Interviews
User interviews were performed throughout this project for many aspects of this application. Interviews were conducted for the initial questionnaire, premium features, dating profile information, and the articles section.

Similar to Facebook or Twitter the Home page consists of a timeline filled with posts created by the user’s friends. Users also create posts on this page.
Events Page
The events page consists of virtual and physical events users can learn about and attend.
Profile Page
The profile page displays basic user information. This profile page is intentionally more personalized than other social media platforms.
Usability Testing
Usability testing was performed to ensure the application is intuitive before I get too far into wireframing. See the prototype below.
